Trade Journaling

Learn Trade Journaling — part of our Trading Discipline series on Trading Bite. Free trading education for Pakistan, India & Gulf traders. Educational use only; not financial advice.

Record facts, not feelings alone

A trade journal tracks each trade with objective data:

  • Date, instrument, direction, entry/exit prices
  • Stop-loss and take-profit levels
  • Position size and risk in $ or %
  • Screenshot of chart at entry
  • Reason for entry (linked to your plan)
  • Result in R-multiples (e.g. +1.5R or -1R)
  • Emotional state (calm, FOMO, revenge)

Review weekly: which setups worked? Did you follow rules? Patterns in mistakes beat guessing.

Trading Bite portal tools can support your routine — consistency beats random effort.
