Measure results in R, not just dollars

1R = amount you risked on the trade (stop distance × size). Outcomes:

  • +2R — won twice your risk.
  • -1R — full stop hit.
  • -0.5R — partial loss or early exit.
-1R -1R +2R +1.5R Expect clusters of -1R — edge shows over 30+ trades
