MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) shows:
MACD line — difference between 12 EMA and 26 EMA.
Signal line — 9 EMA of the MACD line.
Histogram — gap between MACD and signal (momentum strength visual).
MACD crossovers work best in trending conditions. In ranges, histogram chop mirrors MA crossover noise.
